NUTRITION AND FOOD SERVICE |
On 10-12-09, the AHS noted that 1 of 2 resident’s had a Therapeutic Diet. (AHA 2000 Calorie). On this date, the SIC indicated that she was not able to locate the menus that would show staff how to plan and prepare this particular diet. The SIC indicated also that she was not aware that the resident required this diet and that she thought that he was on a regular diet.

RESIDENT ASSESSMENT |
On 10-12-09, DSS noted that home was utilizing a Care Plan that did not have all of the required elements of the DMA 30-50 for 2 of 2 residents. The AHS noted also that the Care Plan that the facility was using for 2 of 2 residents had no place for the resident’s doctors to sign. As a result 2 of 2 Care Plans were not signed within 15 days of completion of the assessment.
